Before anyone is introduced to you, we talk. We ask about your training and your approach so we can match you well, not to test you.
Once your registration is checked and the conversation's done, your profile goes live. From there, introductions come from our team, not from you chasing visibility.
Earnings and fees
You choose your own session fee, and it’s shown in full on your profile before a client ever books — nothing added at checkout. Cashew takes a platform commission out of that fee; the exact share is one of the things we walk through with you before you join, so there’s nothing to discover later.
Every session and every payout is tracked in your dashboard, so you always know what’s owed and when it’s coming.
Your fee is set by you, visible on your profile before booking, and paid out against a dashboard you can check any time — the same honesty the client-facing side of Cashew is built on.
Questions
An RCI registration in good standing, plus the qualification behind it — typically an M.Phil, PhD or equivalent in clinical or counselling psychology. We check the registration ourselves rather than taking it on file.
It depends on how quickly your registration checks out and how soon we can find time to talk. For most applicants it's a matter of days once your profile and documents are in; it can take longer if we need to follow up with the council.
Yes. You open the slots you're available for directly in your calendar, and clients only ever see and book what you've opened. Nothing is scheduled for you without your slot being available first.
Yes. Cashew isn't exclusive — many therapists on the panel also see clients through their own practice or elsewhere. You decide how much of your time to open up here.
